Saudi Arabian Ambassador Visits Wyoming Supreme Court

Posted on: March 10, 2020

Her Royal Highness Princess Reema bint Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to the United States and the first woman in her country’s history to serve in that role, recently visited with Wyoming’s three female Wyoming Supreme Court Justices, Kate Fox, Lynne Boomgaarden and Kari Jo Gray.

Princess Reema has advocated for greater rights for women in her country; who only recently have had the right to vote, to have custody of their children, to travel internationally without male approval, to receive equal pay for equal work, and to exercise in public. The Justices talked about their professional paths in the Equality State, and extended an invitation to Saudi Arabian judges to visit Wyoming to learn more about how our judicial branch works.
